Professor Peiyue Li

Professor of hydrogeology at School of Water and Environment, Chang’an University, China

Professor Li is a full professor in hydrogeology and environmental science. He obtained his Ph.D. from Chang’an University, one of the national key universities in China. His research interests include hydrogeology, hydrogeochemistry and groundwater modeling. He is a member of IAH, IMWA and NGWA since 2014. He serves as an Associate Editors Exposure and Health, Mine Water and the Environment, Human and Ecological Risk Assessment, Archive of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology and Discover Water published by Springer Nature, Taylor and Francis, and also serves as the editorial board member in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment published by Springer Nature and some national key journals. He has been awarded over ten national and provincial awards for recognizing his outstanding achievements in geosciences. He has also been certified as a new research start in science and technology by the Shaanxi Department of Science. He has been funded by two national talent supporting programs, and has been a principal investigator (PI) for more than 20 research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MSTC), Ningxia Departments of Environmental Protection and Shaanxi Department of Science and Technology. He is now working on impacts of irrigation on groundwater quality and the permeability of porous media.
