Presentation Title: Hydrogeochemical characteristics and processes of groundwater in an over 2260-year irrigation district.

Dr. Gao is an associate professor in hydrogeology and environmental science. She obtained her Ph.D from Chang’an University in 2020. Her research interests include hydrogeochemistry, groundwater environment evolution, water recycling and transformation. She has been a principal investigator (PI) for several research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the China Postdoctoral Foundation, and the Shaanxi Department of Science. Meanwhile, she has participated in more than 10 research projects as a key member, such as the Major Program of NSFC, the Key Program of NSFC and the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research Program (STEP). She is working on the evolution mechanism of groundwater environment, and the interaction between surface water and groundwater.
